Life has finally slowed down a bit!

Life has finally slowed down a bit! We have not been doing much. Staying at home and enjoying the warm (almost Hot) weather. Brylie lives outside! She has discovered she can finally ride that big girl bike she got last year for her Birthday. She could ride it before, her legs were just a little too short and she would give up! But not anymore, she thinks we have to go bike riding every night now. And she has figured out how to turn, that was a big deal. Before she would stop pedaling while turning and then not be able to start again so we would have to give her a little push.

Look at that smile!
She also got new swimming pool with a slide! She thought that was pretty neat. Most afternoons she plays in her pool while I water my flowers or mess in the yard.
Brad finally got the garden planted. We doubled its size this year. Brylie insisted on planting a watermelon, when I was buy the plants. I think she picked out the smallest one she could find. Brad didn't want to plant it in the garden, but said we would put it in a large barrel. so I repotted it in a flower pot for now, but got side tracked and didn't water that night. The next day it was dead from sitting in the sun all day. Brylie was really upset, and told everyone that mommy killed her watermelon. SO I bought her another one, and a larger one this time. I am just hopeing we can grow one Watermelon, and she will be happy.

Maryland Trip

We had a great time in Maryalnd last week. The weather could have been a little better, but oh well. We flew into Baltimore on Wed night and spent Thur at the Inner Harbor. First we did a tour of down town on this Truck/ Boat thing, it was called Ride the Ducks. So as everyone got on, they got a duck whistle, Brylie loved it. We drove through the streets of Baltimore, all blowing the whistles and with music Blaring. And then drove right into the Harbor. It was a lot of fun.

Brylie still blowing her whistle while floating around Harbor!

After lunch we heading to The National Aquarium. Brylie, has watched Finding Nemo one to many times, all she wanted to see was Bruce the Shark, Nemo and Dorey! And thank goodness we saw them all. First we saw the sharks! Then we came to a tank with Clown fish, so we started looking for Nemo. And couldn't find him. Another little boy walked up and Brylie told him she was looking for Nemo, so then we had two little kids determined to find Nemo. Another guy finally spotted him after about 10 minutes, hiding. So we got a little glimpse of him, but he never would come out. But Brylie was satisfied!

Looking for Nemo!

Finally Nemo!
Not sure if this was really Nemo or his daddy, who was a afraid of everything!

Thank goodness, Dorey was much easier to find. Actually there were a "bunch of Dorys" in the very next tank!

This was a great Aquarium. It had tons of different Exhibits. It had a huge Australia Exhibit that was really neat. I think Brad and I enjoyed it as much as Brylie.

Bryie was out as soon as we got back in the car.

On Friday Morning, we headed to Pennsylvania. The plan was to go to Hersey and see the Candy Factory. But on the way I realized there was no way we could make it to Hersey and to Gettysburg (where Brad really wanted to go) and make it back in time for Brad to Judge at 5. So we detoured and went straight to Getttysburg, and took some really pretty scenic roads along the way. Gettysburg was neat, I think Brad got more out of it then me. But I spent most of the time trying to entertain Brylie. It started raining after we left the Visitor's Center, so we didn't go to any of the monuments. We just drove around. We ended up in the Apple Country. Miles and Miles of Apple trees. They were beautiful, all starting to bloom. I wish I had gotten a picture, but it was so cloudy, done of them turned out.

The rest of the trip, we spent in driving between West Friendship and Westminster for the Sheep show Brad Judged and our Hotel. Lucky Brad was able to catch a ride with another guy to the show on Sat and Sun mornings, so Brylie and I got to sleep in. And then we would go and watch Brad judge and look around at the festival.

We had a great time! And Brylie was so good! She loved the plane ride, except for the seat belt part. Which makes no since, because she has no problem wearing her seat belt in the Car.
